Welcome to the official website of Sanshukan Kendo Club (Formerly Mytchett Kendo Club). The club is a member of the
British Kendo Association and provides a friendly environment in which to practise the art of kendo. The club is
led by John O'Sullivan sensei (Renshi, 6th Dan, BKA Kendo Bucho), and also enjoys regular attendance from Geoff Salmon
sensei (Kyoshi, 7th Dan).
The club meets weekly at Kings International College, Camberley, Surrey within easy reach of neighbouring towns such as Farnborough, Mytchett, Woking, Guildford, Fleet, Aldershot, Farnham. Sessions run from 8:00pm until 10:00pm on Thursdays and cover many aspects of kendo training in a varied format, visitors are always welcome. Training is followed by a relaxing post-keiko de-brief in the nearby White Hart pub and again, all are welcome.
Sanshukan Kendo Club has close links with Reading Kendo Club, Berkshire (also led by O'Sullivan sensei). Reading Kendo club practice on Tuesdays and many members practice at both clubs.
